Vancouver Sun Run Route
The Vancouver Sun Run course starts near the intersection of Georgia and Burrard Streets before heading toward Stanley Park. From there, runners pass along the waterfront near English Bay, climb the Burrard Street Bridge, and continue toward False Creek before the final stretch into BC Place.
Participants are treated to spectacular coastal and mountain views throughout the route. With ocean scenery, city skylines, and cheering spectators lining the streets, the Sun Run combines natural beauty with electric race-day energy.

More Than Just a Race
The Vancouver Sun Run isn’t only about speed, it is about community. Many runners participate as part of corporate groups, community teams, or youth organizations. There is also a shorter 2.5K Mini Run option for those looking for a lighter, family-friendly distance.
Live musicians perform along the route, volunteers cheer participants on, and supporters gather throughout downtown Vancouver to create a festival-like atmosphere. Even if you’re not running, it’s worth heading downtown to experience the excitement.
